should i investigate for gold or just rely on faith and not investigate?

heard word that 2 feet underneath my shed there might've been literally, gold and antique coins left by owners of the land in the 1920s. if i investigate it will take money, and more importantly, time to remove the shed floor and start the digging looking for the case/chest.

if i don't investigate I'll just keep my faith (which in my own personal case is with God) that ohh well there probably isn't anything under there and it would be a major waste of time (and less importantly, money) doing all that unearthing looking for treasure like some modern day pirate.

but here's where it gets tricky. if i do find stuff under there it could be worth a lot of money (which would be great for someone like me at age 20), which would definitely make the time and money finding it be worth it.

A good metal detector could find a cache of gold coins buried that deep. Rent one.
