Question by Ryan A: i have an old roman coin how could i find out how much its worth and how old it is.?
it has a king on the front,two people shaking hands on the back. at the bottom of the back it xxi ( think roman numerals). and it has two G's on the side. A coi sales man told me it's from 300 A.D.

Try looking on E-Bay. They have pictures you can compare yours to and asking prices.

hmmm…. i wouldnt be too sure replicas are often made your best bet would be to take it to a local museum or historian for a more definate answer !

If you live near an antique store or know of one in your area, you could ask someone there to help you out. Even if they don’t know the answer, they might be able to point you to someone who does.

If you really think it’s from 300 A.D., you might try a history museum in your area. Ask someone there if they can help.

cool, i wish i could have a coin that old!!! the oldest coin i have is only 1918, but i would love to have a coin that old! maybe you should bring it to a coin shop and ask the people how much it could be worth.

but i think you should keep it longer. it’ll be worth more every year.

I would need to know what it says on the front, the side with the Emperors bust. It should be in Latin. I need to know all the letters to help you identify the Emperor. That is the only way you can get a value.
